Itinerary
Day 1: Chengdu - Jiuzhaigou
In the morning, take the high-speed train from Chengdu East Station to Jiuzhaigou. The journey takes about 3 hours.
Arrive at Jiuzhaigou Station at noon, then take the scenic area bus to the entrance of Jiuzhaigou Valley.
In the afternoon, visit Jiuzhaigou Scenic Area. It is recommended to explore the Shuzheng Valley and Rize Valley, where you can enjoy attractions such as Nuorilang Waterfall, Five-Flower Lake, and Long Lake.
Stay overnight at a hotel near the entrance of Jiuzhaigou Valley and enjoy Tibetan cuisine.
Day 2: Jiuzhaigou - Chengdu
In the morning, continue exploring Jiuzhaigou Scenic Area. It is recommended to visit Zechawa Valley to see attractions like Five-Color Pond and Seasonal Lakes.
Have lunch at the valley entrance, then take the scenic area bus to Jiuzhaigou Station.
In the afternoon, take the high-speed train back to Chengdu, concluding your pleasant journey.
Day 3: Chengdu - Kangding - Xinduqiao (about 350 km, approximately 6 hours by car)
Depart from Chengdu in the morning, passing through Ya’an and Luding, and arrive in Kangding in the afternoon.
Make a brief stop in Kangding to experience the local love song culture and enjoy regional cuisine.
Continue driving to Xinduqiao in the afternoon, enjoying scenic views along the way, such as Zheduo Mountain and Tagong Grassland.
Stay overnight at a hotel in Xinduqiao Town and admire the sunset in this "Photographer’s Paradise."
Day 4: Xinduqiao - Yading (400 km, approximately 6 hours by car)
Depart from Daocheng in the morning and head to Yading Scenic Area.
Stay overnight at a hotel in Yading Village or Shangri-La Town.
Day 5: Yading Day Tour
Spend the entire day exploring Yading Scenic Area, including the three sacred mountains—Chenrezig (Xiannairi), Jambeyang (Yangmaiyong), and Chanadorje (Xianuoduojie)—as well as attractions like Luorong Pasture, Five-Color Lake, and Milk Lake.
You can choose to hike or ride a horse to experience the grandeur and awe-inspiring beauty of Yading.
Stay overnight at a hotel in Yading Village or Shangri-La Town.
Day 6: Yading - Daocheng - Kangding (about 460 km, approximately 7 hours by car)
Take a car back to Kangding.
Day 7: Kangding - Chengdu (about 300 km, approximately 4.5 hours by car)
Travel by car to Chengdu
